My mother's car. Luckily, only vehicles were harmed.
The driver of the other car was texting and missed a stop sign at a very visible four-way stop and slammed into my mom. This is a four way stop located in front of a school and even though school isn't in session right now it is a very active crosswalk due to the soccer field, tennis courts, playground and basketball courts located there. So basically, it could have been so much worse. Still, I am pretty much on a mission to make people think. Do NOT text and drive.
I get it. I love texting too. It's fun. It's quick. But if you text while driving you could end up killing someone else's family. Can you imagine? So not worth it!

That's terrible! It's gotten so bad that here it's against the law to use a hand held cellphone for anything while driving.
So glad she wasn't hurt! I hope the other driver will learn a lesson and never text while driving again!
So glad she is okay! My mom was rear-ended on Monday with the same situation - texting driver! Seriously - what is so important that it can't wait - it's a TEXT. Be careful, all.
I agree with you, you are lucky no one was hurt. Texting while driving=stupidity, no common sense whatsoever. I see this happen all the time in my city and it's so frustrating, especially when you have a child in the car with you, what a risk some of these people are taking.
